Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Departure for Athens

The great Aegean adventure begins: we take off from Miami bound for magical Athens. Prefer to leave from another city? Ask us for the fare. We recommend getting to the airport at least 4 hours before your flight so the trip starts stress-free.

Day 2 Athens

Welcome to Athens! When you arrive in Greece's fascinating capital, a representative meets you and takes you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free: we recommend visiting the Plaka, the oldest neighborhood in Athens and the only one where you can still see what the city looked like 100 years ago.

Day 3 Athens: the Acropolis and its museum

After breakfast we set out to tour Athens with our guide: Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the National Library. On the way to the Acropolis we see Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Olympian Zeus, with a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, home of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. At the Acropolis we visit the masterpieces of Athens' Golden Age (the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the famous Parthenon), then the modern Acropolis Museum with its wonders of the classical era. Back to the hotel, with the afternoon free.

Day 4 Athens – Mykonos

At the time set by your guide, we take you to the port of Athens to board the included fast ferry to Mykonos. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day free to discover this cosmopolitan island at your own pace.

Day 5 Mykonos

A free day on the famous jet-set island, with its white houses, windmills and chapels, sandy beaches, shops and galleries, and incredible nightlife. We recommend getting lost in the narrow, winding streets of its villages, visiting Paraportiani, one of its many churches, and soaking up the island's atmosphere after dark.

Day 6 Mykonos – Santorini

At the time set by your guide, we take you to the port of Mykonos to board the included fast ferry to Santorini. On arrival, transfer from the port to the hotel and a free afternoon to discover this enchanting, picturesque island at your own pace.

Day 7 Santorini: the caldera by boat

After breakfast we board a schooner for the included tour of the Santorini caldera: six hours of sailing with three stops. First, a guided visit of about an hour and a half to the volcano, the youngest volcanic formation in the Mediterranean (volcano entry not included), then about 30 minutes to swim in the famous hot springs of Palea Kameni. We continue to the island of Thirasia, with 2 hours to have lunch at a traditional taverna on Korfos Bay or explore the village of Manolas, and sail back past Oia, Imerovigli and Firostefani, with some of the most spectacular views on Santorini.

Day 8 Santorini – Athens

At the time set by your guide, we take you to Santorini airport for the included domestic flight to Athens. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and a free afternoon to enjoy your last day in Greece.

Day 9 Heading home

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight home. We return with suitcases full of sunshine, the Aegean Sea and memories of Greece.
