Day-by-day itinerary

The order of visits may vary by departure; download your date's PDF for the exact itinerary.

Day 1 Departure for Dubai

The adventure begins: we take off from Miami bound for iconic Dubai. Prefer to leave from another city? Ask us for the fare. We recommend getting to the airport at least 4 hours before your flight so the trip starts stress-free.

Day 2 Dubai

Welcome to Dubai! When you arrive in the Middle East's great metropolis, a representative meets you and takes you to the hotel. Since you land late, a light dinner box is included for you to enjoy in your room.

Day 3 Dubai: desert safari

A free morning to rest or explore the city. In the afternoon comes the trip's favorite excursion: Land Cruisers (6 people per vehicle) pick you up at the hotel between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. to ride the dunes and photograph the Arabian sunset. At the camp you'll find dinner included (with water, soft drinks, tea and coffee), folk shows and belly dancing, plus sandboarding, camel rides and henna tattoos; back at the hotel around 9:30 p.m.

Day 4 Old Dubai and the Burj Khalifa

A guided tour in Spanish of old Dubai: the Bastakiya quarter, with its traditional houses and wind towers, and a ride across Dubai Creek on an abra, the local water taxi, to the Gold and Spice souks. We continue through Jumeirah, home to the sheikhs' palaces, with photo stops at Jumeirah Mosque and the Burj Al Arab, and drive past the skyscrapers of Sheikh Zayed Road. We finish at the 828-meter (2,717 ft) Burj Khalifa, with entry included to the 124th-floor observation decks before 3:00 p.m.

Day 5 Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Dubai

A full day in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Emirates, about two hours away by road past Jebel Ali, the world's largest man-made port. We visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the third largest in the world, cross the Al Maqta Bridge, stroll the Corniche and enjoy lunch included at a 5-star hotel restaurant, with a photo stop at the Emirates Palace and half an hour at a handicraft gallery. In the afternoon we tour the Al Bateen district, enter the Qasr Al Watan presidential palace (entry included) and stop at Ferrari World for photos and shopping (entry not included).

Day 6 Dubai: free day

A free day in Dubai; we recommend the Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park, known as the world's largest picture frame at 150 meters (492 ft) tall. In the evening we check out and take you to the airport, with Spanish-speaking assistance, for the 2:15 a.m. flight.

Day 7 Heading home

We take off in the early hours bound for home. We return with heads full of dunes, skyscrapers and golden sunsets.

  • On the New Year's departure the order changes: day 3 combines old and modern Dubai (The Palm, an Atlantis photo stop, the monorail, Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa up to floors 124/125); day 4 is free, with a New Year's Eve dinner included at a restaurant overlooking Dubai Marina; the safari is on day 5 and Abu Dhabi on day 6.
  • On the Thanksgiving departure the Dubai tour and Burj Khalifa are on day 3 and the safari on day 4.
  • For the optional Burj Al Arab tour, bring your original passport: it may be requested at the hotel entrance.
  • You'll need a passport valid for at least 6 to 9 months after your return date, with at least two blank pages.
  • You'll stay at the planned hotels or others of the same category.
